GTA 5: No More Xbox 360 Or PS3 Updates Coming?

It has been said that in the future some GTA 5 updates and DLC content won’t be suitable for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Right now Rockstar does offer support for the game on the older gen consoles, however they said that in the future they can only promise updates for the PS4 and Xbox One and of course the PC.
Rockstar did answer the question of one worried fan who asked if the last gen console players were going to be left out. Rockstar did say that they had released the Christmas DLC for the Xbox 360 and PS3. They did say that features such as the first person mode wouldn’t be possible on the older versions of the console as they didn’t have the technology that was needed.

“We are incredibly thankful to our original generation of GTA V and GTA Online players on those systems and wish to continue providing content to them for as long as we can,” Rockstar said.
“Of course, at some point in the future, there may be a point where we reach the limits for the previous generation of consoles as there may be some updates that are only technically possible on the new hardware–but we do hope to continue delivering as many updates as we can for all four consoles for as long as possible,” it added.
The new first person mode comes with thousands of animations which the older consoles are unable to support. GTA 5 PC is being developed and it is in the last stages. Rockstar said that the system requirements would be made available soon.
So it could be that in the future GTA 5 updates and DCL content may not arrive on the older consoles due to Rockstar focusing on the Xbox One and PS4.
